For 6 years now, I’ve struggled with my business.
What the heck do I do?
What problems do I solve?
Who can I best serve?
And… for each of those years, I’ve ultimately just shrugged my shoulders and said, “who the heck knows?“.
So, I built apps and automations, ran workshops, conducted webinars, coached developers, consulted businesses, and everything in between.
Now, I have a thriving team of 5 developers, a suite of internal tools which makes it incredibly fast to build world-class applications, and a ton of exposure to many different industries.
It’s become clear that there is a major problem in software. Turns out, it’s not one-size-fits all. Or even most.
It’s close - within 5-10%. But, that 5-10% that doesn’t fit causes major headaches in actually being able to use the software effectively. It becomes an unexpected bottleneck in your day-to-day operations. It creates new mundane tasks that need to be completed. It forces you to adapt your business to the software. And all of that is completely backwards.
I’ve come to realize that my specialty is optimizing business operations. It’s understanding all of the different pieces of the business on a global level, and understand how to make them run smoother by making changes at the micro level.
So, over the coming weeks, I’ll be exploring operations and tech a bit more in depth. Hope you enjoy it!
